The team behind the upcoming seventh “Mission: Impossible” film are reportedly weighing their options in regards to their location shooting.
The Tom Cruise-led production was scheduled to begin in the Italian city of Venice in March, but ended up being one of the first major studio productions to be halted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, Cruise is reportedly hoping that filming will begin again in June and so producers are trying to decide if they should push the location shoot until the Fall if the virus subsides by then.
The alternative is to do away with those plans entirely, and they may have to if travel restrictions remain in place. Start dates are said to be not guaranteed until the industry can make sure sets remain free of the coronavirus.
Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Henry Czerny, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Nicholas Hoult co-star in the new film which will again be penned and directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
