Does the ‘Snyder Cut’ of “Justice League” truly exist? A few now claim to have seen Zack Snyder’s original version of the film in some form, although it’s likely incomplete.
Recently the film’s stunt coordinator Eunice Huthart, who was doing some interviews for the home video release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” on Digital and Blu-ray, spoke with Screen Rant and offered some more details.
First up, she revealed that had the coronavirus pandemic not slowed Hollywood to a standstill, her next project was meant to be the long in the works “The Flash” film. She says she was supposed to start working on that “about the end of April, beginning of May” but adds that she’s “not sure what’s happening now with that”.
She also shared some more details about the fabled cut of Snyder’s “Justice League,” confirming that as far as she knows it absolutely exists:
“There’s a few questions about that, and I’m sure that I’m okay to say I officially know people who’ve seen the Snyder cut and said it’s absolutely amazing. And I do believe that that’s the movie we were making, Zack Snyder’s version of the film. You know, with the heartache of what happened with his daughter, we pulled out [and did] the reshoots of it. So, the movie took a slightly different turn.”
Huthart also confirmed she has plans to watch the Snyder Cut somewhere down the line:
“I watched the cinema release of the film, and I texted Zack to say, ‘What’s this I’m hearing about this Snyder cut? I need to see it,’. And he did promise me next time I’m in LA, that I’ll go watch it. So I will at some point, definitely go and watch the Snyder cut. And I have spoken to people who actually said it’s brilliant. They said it’s absolutely golden.”
Whether any of the public will eventually get to see it in any sort of form remains unclear.
