SNL & “S.W.A.T.” Pause, “Crown” Continues

More shutdowns are happening across television with “Saturday Night Live” postponing its next three episodes because of coronavirus concerns.

The series was supposed to return on March 28th with host John Krasinski and musical guest Dua Lipa, but with New York City one of the epicenters of the coronavirus outbreak the postponement is understandable.

CBS series “S.W.A.T.” is halting production today with the penultimate episode of its second season finished, leaving only the season finale to shoot. The fate of that episode is currently unclear.

One show that won’t be shutting down though is Netflix’s “The Crown”. Left Bank Pictures has decided to forge ahead with a final week of filming on the show’s fourth season as they need to tie-up loose ends on the series.
