Filming on “Halloween Kills,” the upcoming sequel to 2018’s revival of the “Halloween” franchise, has officially wrapped after 36 days of production.
Announced in June, Blumhouse got to work fast on the film which will now go into the post-production phase and potential additional filming at some point down the line.
While it was originally believed that the upcoming sequel was going to shoot back-to-back with the third film “Halloween Ends,” that is not the case and there will be a decent-sized gap between the shoots.
The film’s star Jamie Lee Curtis shared the first footage from “Halloween Kills” earlier this week which included a first look at Anthony Michael Hall as the adult version of Tommy Doyle. David Gordon Green is back in the director’s chair for both this and the upcoming “Halloween Ends”.
“Halloween Kills” is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 16th 2020 with “Halloween Ends” hitting October 15th 2021.
