Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Joker” remains at the top of the box-office with the film grossing another $17 million domestically on its second Friday.
Should it hold, the film looks to snag a further $60 million over the three-day weekend, a fall of just 37% from its $96 million box office debut and above earlier predictions. Should it match the new estimates, it could go past the $185 million mark by the end of the weekend.
The animated “The Addams Family” is coming in second with around $33 million for the weekend, while Ang Lee’s “Gemini Man” is on course for an estimated $20 million – coming in below earlier predictions. The Adam Devine comedy “Jexi” is also opening with a $3 million weekend estimated.
“Abominable” and “Downton Abbey” will round out the top five.
