Netflix has premiered the trailer for “Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein,” a new mockumentary special starring “Stranger Things” and “Hellboy” actor David Harbour as both himself and a very Orson Welles-like fictional version of his father.
In the one-off 28-minute special, Harbour delves into the enigmatic history of his legendary acting family, as he examines his father’s legacy and role in a televised stage play which he has uncovered long-lost footage from. The pitch says “expect the unexpected in this over-the-top and often dramatic(ish) reimagined tale of mystery and suspense”.
Alfred Molina, Kate Berlant and more special guests star in the project which hails from director Daniel Gray Longino (“Kroll Show,” “PEN15”) and writer John Levenstein (“Arrested Development,” “Kroll Show”). “Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein” launches globally on Netflix on July 16th.
