Stan Lee Talks His Cameos, Offers DC His Help

The Marvel films, be they part of the MCU or not, often have one thing in common – a cameo by Stan Lee.

The comic book writer and creator is so important to this genre that he’s revealed he’s shot his next three Marvel cameos for “Doctor Strange,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.

Asked if he gets a say in how big or small his roles are during a recent Q&A in Toronto for Fan Expo Canada (via Breakfast Show), he says: “Oh no no, they decide. If I was deciding it would be a half hour role. They only give me a few seconds, and they’re afraid, you know, I’ll overshadow the star. You know how that is.”

Lee also offered his services to DC: “I want to do more cameos also, I’ve even let people know it doesn’t have to be a Marvel movie, I don’t know why DC hasn’t called me. They could use me.”

Lee has a “Thor: Ragnarok” cameo on the way, not to mention the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and “Captain Marvel”.
