Pacific Rim: Uprising
Actor John Boyega has been spotted in Jaegar armor filming scenes in Australia for the “Pacific Rim” sequel. Steven S. DeKnight helms the follow-up to Guillermo del Toro’s 2013 mecha vs. kaiju movie. Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, and Jing Tian also star with a February 2018 release targeted. [Source: Instagram]

Nintendo Switch
A listing on Gameseek in the UK appears to have suggested that the Nintendo Switch console will be released in stores on March 17th and will be priced around £199 (USD$245). Gameseek has now removed the date completely from their site. Nintendo has previously officially confirmed a March release but hadn’t set a specific date. [Source: Game Seek]

Ziggy Stardust
D.A. Pennebaker’s vintage concert film “Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars” will score a theatrical re-release across Europe on March 7th as part of a celebration of the life and music of David Bowie. Tickets for the screenings will be on sale from January 11th.

CinEvents is organising the event which includes a new film produced by Mojo magazine exclusively for this screening. The documentary/concert film captures Bowie and his band performing at London’s Hammersmith Odeon on July 3rd 1973. [Source: Variety]

The Walking Dead
Robert Kirkman, creator of “The Walking Dead” comic and a producer on the AMC series adaptation, says that though he can’t say how long the series will survive, he’s positive about the show’s chances for at least a few years.

He tells “No telling how long the show will last. Very hopeful we will last to Season 10 and beyond.” Despite a ratings hit this season, the show remains far and beyond the most watched show on cable.

Injustice 2
NetherRealm Studios’ has revealed that “Injustice 2,” the sequel to the DC Comics inspired fighting game “Injustice: Gods Among Us” release date on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for May 16th.

For the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes. Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman take on new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. [Source: NetherRealm Studios]
