Following a very strong year for the genre in 2016, arthouse horror films continue to blossom this year with one of the most anticipated being “Krisha” director Trey Edward Shults’ new tale “It Comes At Night”. Today, the film’s first trailer has arrived.
Joel Edgerton, Riley Keough, Christopher Abbott, and Carmen Ejogo star in the film about a man who learns that the evil stalking his desolate but secure family home may be only a prelude to horrors that come from within.
The family’s tenuous domestic order is put to the test by a desperate young family seeking refuge. Paranoia and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep ever-closer, awakening something hidden and monstrous within him.
“It Comes At Night” opens in cinemas on August 25th.
