This year’s “Captain America: Civil War” offered us only a brief glimpse of Black Panther’s home Wakanda during the mid-credits sequence – a jungle region shrouded in mist and with some interesting rock formations.
Today, some new early concept art from designer Andrew Leung for the film has gone online showcasing original designs that were envisioned for the film. In this case it’s a futuristic-looking city, presumably the capital of Birnin Zana.
Could this art inform the design for Wakanda in the solo “Black Panther” film? It’s not clear. “Captain America: Civil War” is now out in release, while the “Black Panther” film is due in cinemas on February 16th 2018.
