Highway to Heaven
FOX has announced a contemporary reimagining of the classic 1980s TV series “Highway to Heaven”. The original starred Michael Landon as a probationary angel sent to Earth to earn his wings by helping people in need.

The new take hails from writer-producer Jason Katims (“Friday Night Lights”) and Amblin Television and will premiere during the 2027-28 season. [Source: FOX]

Disavowed
James Marsden, currently enjoying a big arc in “Your Friends & Neighbors,” will star in Apple TV’s action thriller series “Disavowed”.

Marsden will play CIA case officer Brad Griffin who is abruptly fired in the middle of a global hunt for an elusive assassin responsible for killing his colleague.

Elle
Amazon Prime Video has premiered the official trailer for its “Legally Blonde” prequel series “Elle” which releases on the service on July 1st.

Set in Bel-Air 1995, the series explores Elle Woods’ teenage years in the 1990s as a high school student in Seattle – long before she became the ambitious Harvard law student in the films.

I Will Find You
Netflix has premiered the teaser trailer for the Sam Worthington-led Netflix series “I Will Find You” which hits the service June 18th. Robert Hull serves as creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

In the eight-episode series, an innocent father serving life for the murder of his own son receives evidence that his child may still be alive – and must break out of prison to find out the truth.

Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, Chi McBride, and Jonathan Tucker co-star. Guest stars include the likes of Madeleine Stowe and Clancy Brown.

Life, Larry, And The Pursuit Of Unhappiness
None other than former U.S. President Barack Obama is the star of a clip introducing Larry David‘s new HBO history-comedy series, which finally has a title – “Life, Larry, And The Pursuit Of Unhappiness”.

Obama produced the series, which honours the United States of America’s 250th anniversary as a nation with an idiosyncratic retelling of the nation’s history.

Jon Hamm, Bill Hader, Susie Essman, Vince Vaughn, Jeff Garlin, Jerry Seinfeld, and more will guest star in the show launching June 26th and running through August 7th.
