“Black Panther” co-stars Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong’o along with Elisabeth Moss are all in talks to star in “Get Out” writer/director Jordan Peele’s next directorial effort “Us”.
Peele, who also wrote the film, made the announcement of the film’s title today along with releasing the first poster. The one-sheet is a spin on the Rorschach test and suggests “Us” is likely another psychological thriller with social commentary – as Peele has previously indicated he wanted to make.
The project will be the first that Peele is developing under his new first-look deal with Universal Pictures. It is currently targeting a March 15th 2019 release.
“Get Out” earned Peele the Oscar for best original screenplay and was also nominated for best picture, best director, and best actor. The film grossed $225 million worldwide.
