Dolan, Beinbrink Join “IT” Sequel Cast

Acclaimed Quebecios filmmaker and actor Xavier Dolan (“Mommy,” “Tom at the Farm”) and “Free State of Jones” actor Will Beinbrink have scored small but key roles in Andy Muschetti’s “IT: Chapter Two” at New Line.

The follow-up to 2017’s smash hit adapts the second half of Stephen King’s iconic novel in which the young kids have now grown up to be adults who must return to Derry and face Pennywise who has returned after a near thirty-year absence.

A violent and tragic incident always precedes Pennywise’s return and Dolan will play Adrian Mellon, a gay man living in Derry who is bashed by a group of guys only to ultimately become Pennywise’s first victim in the contemporary era.

Beinbrink will play Tom Rogan, the lover of Beverly (Jessica Chastain) who has ended up with a man as (if not more) abusive than her father.

“IT: Chapter Two” is currently in production and opens September 6th 2019.
