Peacock Teases “Bell,” “A.P. Bio” Revivals

Peacock has released two promo trailers for formerly cancelled shows now revived on the service.

First up comes the “Saved by the Bell” revival series in which Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is now governor and gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools. He proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state – including Bayside High.

The influx of new students gives the over-privileged Bayside kids a much needed dose of reality. Other original cast members like Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez and Tiffani Thiessen also return and join new cast members Dexter Darden, Josie Totah, Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Pena and Belmont Cameli.

Emmy-winning “30 Rock” writer-producer Tracey Wigfield is spearheading the new take which hasn’t set a premiere date as yet.

Next, they’ve also released the official trailer for a third season of Glenn Howerton’s comedy series “A.P. Bio”. The series was cancelled by NBC but revived by the streamer thanks to some very supportive fans.

Once again the series follows disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin as he is forced to return to his hometown of Toledo, Ohio as an advanced-placement biology teacher, choosing not to teach the class in the slightest and instead focus on how to get revenge on his former rival Miles Griffin (Tom Bennett), while Principal Ralph Durbin (Patton Oswalt) attempts to rein him in.

All the main cast is back with the new episodes kicking off September 3rd.
