“Matrix 4,” “Batman,” “Squad” Set Vids & Photos

A couple of set videos and photos have been released today that are very much worth a look.

First up, filming on the fourth “The Matrix” film continues in San Francisco and video is out seemingly of stunt doubles for either new characters or Keanu Reeves and co-star Carrie-Anne Moss’ Neo and Trinity taking a daring leap off a building with the help of some wires to be later removed digitally.

If they are the main stars then the look seems much more akin to how we last saw Neo, as opposed to Reeves more long-haired “John Wick” style look which was glimpsed in set photos a few weeks ago. Lana Wachowski is helming the new film which opens next Summer.

Next up, set video has emerged of Margot Robbie filming scenes as Harley Quinn for James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad”. Robbie is on her own in the first, while she is joined by Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian as Polka Dot Man and Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher in the second video.

Gunn recently teased that the cast and crew have been having a great time filming the project in Panama City. The project reportedly only has about 3-4 weeks left of shooting before it wraps and heads into a lengthy post-production period with the movie to open August 6th 2021.

Finally some more London set photos from Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” are out, though these look more akin to something out of “The Purge” franchise. In the new shots, several men in deathly makeup mug a jogger. It’s not clear who they are working for in the film or if they’re just random thugs. The Robert Pattinson-led film only recently began filming and so plenty more photos and videos are expected from the project in coming weeks and months.
