Akiva Goldsman will produce and potentially direct a film adaptation of “Deadpool” creator Rob Liefeld’s comic “Avengelyne” for Paramount Pictures.
The studio has made a pre-emptive film rights deal for the property which follows a fallen angel who fights the forces of evil and often finds herself face-to-face with demons and monsters.
Goldsman will head the search for a screenwriter to draft a movie that is being dubbed “John Wick with a fallen angel”. There is no actress in line for the role at the moment.
