Owen Wilson is in negotiations to join Julia Roberts in the film adaptation of the R.J. Palacio young adult novel “Wonder” at Lionsgate
Jacob Tremblay (“Room”) stars as Auggie Pullman, a young boy who was born with a facial deformity. For the first time, Auggie is going to a mainstream school starting the fifth grade at Beecher Prep.
Wilson will play the boy’s father opposite Roberts as his mother. Stephen Chbosky (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”) directs from a script by Jack Thorne and Steve Conrad. Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman are producing.
