Tulsa King
Paramount+ has announced a September 21st premiere date for the third seaosn of its Sylvester Stallone-led crime drama “Tulsa King”. New episodes will drop weekly with Samuel L. Jackson set to guest star in multiple episodes.

The new season sees Dwight’s empire expanding, along with his enemies’ list. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family. South Park
The 27th season premiere of “South Park” last Wednesday brought in a big audience for Comedy Central and Paramount+ with 5.9 million cross-platform viewers tuning in. The episode, which featured President Donald Trump in bed with Satan, saw a jump of 68% on its prior season premiere back in February 2023. [Source: THR]

3 Body Problem
Netflix’s sci-fi epic “3 Body Problem” has cast Alfie Allen (“Game of Thrones”) in a recurring role in its second season along with David Yip (“The Chinese Detective”) and Jordan Sunshine (“Wonder Pets”). Claudia Doumit and Ellie De Lange also star next season which recently began production in Budapest. [Source: THR]

Hostel
Peacock has reportedly picked up the “Hostel” TV series which filmmaker Eli Roth is set to write, direct, and executive produce. As previously reported, Paul Giamatti is attached to star in the series with plot specifics currently under wraps. The two original films dealt with American tourists vacationing in Eastern Europe who are kidnapped and tortured by rich clientele. [Source: Variety]

Long Story Short
Almost a month out from its first season launch, Netflix has renewed the adult animated series “Long Story Short” for a second season. Created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg (“Bjoack Horseman”), the title releases on August 22nd.

The story is about one family, over time. Jumping through the years, we follow the Schwooper siblings from childhood to adulthood and back again, chronicling their triumphs, disappointments, joys, and compromises. Lisa Edelstein, Paul Reiser, Ben Feldman, Abbi Jacobson, Max Greenfield, Angelique Cabral, Nicole Byer, Dave Franco and Michaela Dietz co-star.

Tempest
Hulu has premiered the trailer for its Korean original series “Tempest” which premieres September 10th. Gianna Jun, Gang Dongwon, John Cho, Lee Misook, Park Haejoon, Christopher Gorham, Michael Gaston, and Spencer Garrett star/

The nine-episode series follows an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate that triggers a multinational conspiracy that threatens the stability of the Korean peninsula…and may even lead to the White House. Kim Heewon and Heo Myeonghaeng direct while Chung Seokyung (“Decision To Leave”) writes.
