Snyder Keeps Teasing His DC Trilogy

HBO Max

“300” filmmaker Zack Snyder has released yet another cryptic image via his social media accounts, the fourth in as many days, teasing a DC event coming in the final weekend of April.

The teases began with a video message delivered by Lord Darkseid that was fairly cryptic. Then came a photo with Henry Cavill’s Superman and a list of acronyms for the three Snyder-directed DCEU films. Most recently came one with Wonder Woman and a quote.

The third one however has been the most revealing with a photo of Ben Affleck’s Batman along with text indicating “Man of Steel” on April 28th, “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” on April 29th and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” on April 30th.

The first two have the cryptic ‘ACCD’ letters under them, but the ‘League’ one clearly has ‘IMAX’ list under it. This strongly suggests an event re-release of the three films with one screening each night and Snyder’s 242-minute ‘League’ cut being shown on IMAX – just over two years after it debuted on HBO Max.

The “Justice Is Gray Edition” of the latter film had an exclusive theatrical release with three IMAX screenings in New York City, Los Angeles, and Austin in 2021. It’s not clear if the new screenings will be that version of the full color version like the HBO Max release.

Further details are expected in coming days. All three of the films are available to watch now on HBO Max.
