Iconic actor Lance Reddick has died at age 60.

The actor’s body was discovered in his Studio City home on Friday with his publicist subsequently issuing a statement saying he died suddenly from natural causes earlier this morning.

Reddick had recently been out promoting “John Wick: Chapter 4,” the newest installment of the action franchise in which he played The Continental Hotel’s concierge Charon since the first film. Other film credits include “Oldboy,” “The Siege,” “White House Down,” “Godzilla vs. Kong,” “Brother to Brother,” “One Night in Miami,” and “Little Woods”.

Reddick was widely known for his TV work with seminal roles as Lt. Cedric Daniels in HBO’s “The Wire,” Phillip Broyles in “Fringe,” and Deputy Chief Irvin Irving in “Bosch”. He also had recurring or guest roles in “Lost,” “Beware the Batman,” “The Legend of Vox Machina,” “DuckTales,” “Tron: Uprising,” “CSI: Miami,” “Oz,” “Law & Order: SVU” and more.

More recently he voiced two major video game franchises – as Sylens in both “Horizon” titles and Commander Zavala in both “Destiny” titles. He also played Albert Wesker in Netfliz’s “Resident Evil” series adaptation.

He has several works still to be released including the “White Men Can’t Jump” remake, the “John Wick” spin-off “Ballerina,” and playing Zeus in the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” TV series.

Reddick is survived by his wife Stephanie Reddick and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick.
