Hugh Grant will join Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Andrea Riseborough in the upcoming HBO limited series “The Palace”.
The series will tell the story of one year within the walls of the palace of an authoritarian regime as it begins to unravel.
Will Tracy serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner while Stephen Frears will direct and executive produce. Winslet, Frank Rich and Tracey Seaward also executive produce.
Grant will appear in the series in a guest starring role and a recent spate of successful TV turns in shows like HBO’s “The Undoing” and “A Very English Scandal”.
The series marks Winslet’s fourth HBO limited series following “Mildred Pierce,” “Mare of Easttown” and the currently in the works “The Trust”.
