Netflix has premiered the full trailer for Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn’s six-episode series “Copenhagen Cowboy” which premieres on the streamer on January 5th.
The neon-drenched noir series follows the enigmatic Miu who, after a lifetime of servitude and on the verge of a new beginning, must traverse the ominous landscape of Copenhagen’s criminal netherworld to enact vengeance.
She and her nemesis Rakel embark on an odyssey partly through the supernatural. Angela Bundalovic, Lola Corfixen, Zlatko Buric, Andreas Lykke Jørgensen, Jason Hendil-Forssell, Li Ii Zhang, and Dragana Milutinovic co-star.
The project follows the “Drive,” “Bronson” and “Only God Forgives” director’s first foray into television with the little-seen Amazon Prime series “Too Old To Die Young”.
