Pratt Talks Up Gunns Third Guardians

Out doing promotional rounds for his Amazon series “The Terminal List,” actor Chris Pratt has spoken about his seemingly final outing as the character of Peter Quill/Starlord in the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”.

The Marvel Studios title will mark director James Gunn’s final outing with the franchise and likely the last Marvel adventure for many of the actors involved including Pratt. Speaking with Digital Spy, Pratt was very happy to talk it up:

“It’s fantastic. [Director] James Gunn just watched a rough assembly the other day. I called him yesterday. We Facetimed, and he’s very, very proud of the work that everyone’s done. He said it’s the best work all of us have ever done. He feels very, very confident. The script was amazing.

And I can say with utter confidence that he’s made a true masterpiece, and I just cannot wait for people to see it. It’s James Gunn. He did all three movies, which is really rare and really special in the world of big box-office trilogies.”

Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel all return for the new film which sees Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji co-starring.

Pratt and multiple ‘Guardians’ actors reprise their roles this week in “Thor: Love and Thunder” which opens everywhere Friday. They’ll also be seen later this year in a Disney+ “Guardians” holiday special.
