Though Paramount+ has been lined up as the streaming home of Taylor Sheridan’s output, the company is now set to throw more traditional TV a bone.

The upcoming “Yellowstone” spin-off “6666” is now moving to Paramount Network, the home of the main series, after having originally been announced as a Paramount+ original.

Founded when Comanches still ruled West Texas, no ranch in America is more steeped in the history of the West than the 6666. Still operating as it did two centuries before, and encompassing an entire county, the 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing.

Though “6666” is headed to the network, Paramount+ will still remain the primary home of the spin-offs with the already aired “1883” and the previously announced “1932” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.

In addition, it has been announced the planned Bass Reeves limited series will now be an offshoot of “1883” and so will go by the title “1883: The Bass Reeves Story”.

David Oyelowo stars as Reeves, a legendary lawman of the Wild West and post-Reconstruction era. A federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, he is believed to be the inspiration for The Lone Ranger and captured over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded.

Finally, Paramount has also announced today that the fifth season of the Kevin Costner-led main “Yellowstone’ series will premiere in November.
