Mythic Quest
Actor F. Murray Abraham will not be returning to his role of C.W. Longbottom on the third season of the Apple TV+ series “Mythic Quest”. Details surrounding his departure are unclear but come as a surprise.
The series revolves around a fictional video game studio run by Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney). Longbottom is an old-fashioned sci-fi novelist turned video game writer with delusions of grandeur and was a key character in the second season. [Source: The Wrap]

Showtime has announced a June 24th premiere date for the fifth season of its Lena Waithe-created Chicago South Side-set drama “The Chi”. The show’s fourth season ended as one of the network’s most-streamed series ever averaging 4.2 million weekly viewers. [Source: Showtime]
The Goldbergs
ABC has renewed its long-running single-camera comedy series “The Goldbergs” for a tenth season. It’s still now clear how the series will handle the likely departure of Murray Goldberg (Jeff Garlin) after Garlin exited the series in December following a misconduct investigation.
Garlin is expected to still be a part of the ninth season through the use of off-camera dialogue and unused takes as well as previously shot images of Garlin. [Source: Variety]
Meltdown: Three Mile Island
Netflix has premiered the trailer for “Meltdown: Three Mile Island,” a four-episode docuseries chronicling the near catastrophe that happened at a nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania in 1979 – one of the worst nuclear incidents in history. Kief Davidson (“The Ivory Game”) helms the series which premieres on May 4th.
Now and Then
Apple TV+ has premiered the trailer for its new bilingual (English and Spanish) murder thriller series “Now & Then”. In the film one member of a group of young friends on a secluded beach abruptly dies.
When another body is found twenty years later, they become prime suspects. Rosie Perez stars as a detective hell-bent on solving the mysterious case of the original dead teen. Zeljko Ivanek, Marina de Tavira, JoseMarÃa Yazpik and Maribel Verdu co-star. The first three episodes premiere May 20th.
