Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman has revealed that he will film a scene next month for filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s currently shooting historical drama “Oppenheimer” at Universal Pictures.

Cillian Murphy stars as Robert J. Oppenheimer one of the key scientists that helped create the atomic bomb for the U.S. military. Oldman adds that it’s only a page’s worth of material. Production is underway and will be released July 21st 2023. [Source: TalkSport]

Oscar winners Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are teaming up with Disney Original Documentary for a ‘definitive portrait’ of legendary Muppets creator Jim Henson. With never-before-seen personal archives, Howard will direct the currently untitled film and produce alongside Grazer, Justin Wilkes and Margaret Bodde. [Source: Deadline]

Wild Symphony
MGM and Akiva Goldsman are developing an animated feature film based on “The Da Vinci Code” author Dan Brown’s children’s picture book “Wild Symphony”.

Brown will adapt the book and write music for the project while Goldsman produces. The story follows the adventures of Maestro Mouse as he traverses the globe and recruits an orchestra like no other. [Source: Variety]

Tales of the Walking Dead
Samantha Morton will reprise her role of “The Walking Dead” villain Alpha, leader of The Whisperers, in the upcoming six-episode anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead” for AMC.

Morton will appear in a single episode, though specifics are under wraps. Anthony Edwards, Jillian Bell, Terry Crews, Daniella Pineda, Parker Posey, and Poppy Liu also star. [Source: Variety]
