EPIX has confirmed that a second season of “Chaplewaite,” its series adaptation of Stephen King’s novella “Jerusalem’s Lot,” is officially in development.
However, the network has not officially ordered a renewal as yet. The second season apparently shows that the Boone curse didn’t die and despite Charles’ selfless act, De Vermis Mysteriis remains as powerful as ever.
The series is executive produced by Donald De Line, Jason Filardi, and Peter Filardi. Adrien Brody and Emily Hampshire starred in the first season which was originally designed as a limited series.
