The first trailer has been released for the first season of the Showtime anthology series “Super Pumped”. Each season will focus on the creations of some of the world’s most famous startups and how they impacted us all – for better or for worse.
The first season will deal with the background of ride-share service Uber and is based on Mike Isaac’s 2019 nonfiction book.
The series will also focus on the turmoil going on behind the scenes between CEO Travis Kalanick (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and internal and external sources such as Uber’s co-founder Bill Gurley (Kyle Chandler), Apple CEO Tim Cook (Hank Azaria) and The Huffington Post co-founder Ariana Huffington (Uma Thurman). Elisabeth Shue also stars.
“Billions” showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien along with Beth Shacter are all showrunners on this. Showtime is set to premiere the series on February 27th 2022.
