Peacock has announced the main cast of its TV series based on Richelle Mead’s popular young adult book series “Vampire Academy”.

The story centers on two young women, outspoken vampire-human hybrid Rose Hathaway (Sisi Stringer) and carefree Royal Moroi vampire Lissa Dragomir (Daniela Nieves) whose friendship transcends their strikingly different classes.

August Richards as noble political strategist Victor Dashkov.

There’s also Anita-Joy Uwajeh as Moroi vampire Tatiana Vogel, Mia McKenna-Bruce as witty non-royal student Mia Karp, Rhian Blundell as strong-willed Meredith, and Jonetta Kaiser as bookworm Sonya Karp, Andrew Liner as number one Guardian-in-training Mason Ashford,

“Legacies” duo Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre serve as showrunners while Billie Woodruff is set to helm the first episode.
