Jacob Anderson has scored the leading role of Louis in AMC’s upcoming series adaptation of Anne Rice’s Gothic vampire novel “Interview With the Vampire”.

Anderson is arguably best known for playing Unsullied leader Grey Worm on HBO’s “Game of Thrones”. Here he’ll take on the role once played by Brad Pitt in the previous 1994 film adaptation.

In the story, Louis is a young man who is seduced into the world of the undead by the amoral vampire Lestat (Sam Reid). Fellow “Thrones” alum Alan Taylor is helming the show’s first two episodes.

Anderson has a recurring role in the upcoming thirteenth season of “Doctor Who” as a swashbuckling adventurer who joins forces with The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker).
