The trailer has been released for “The Grey” and “Boss Level” filmmaker Joe Carnahan’s newest feature “Copshop” which brings together the two biggest titans of action B-movies – Frank Grillo and Gerard Butler.
Delivering a loose spin on John Carpenter’s “Assault on Precinct 13,” the movie sees a small Nevada desert town police station becoming the battleground between a professional hitman (Butler), a smart female rookie cop (newcomer Alexis Louder), and a wily con man (Grillo) who seeks refuge behind bars with no place left to run.
Toby Huss (“The Invitation”) also stars as a demented competing assassin. Carnahan and Kurt McLeod penned the script. The pair, Grillo, Butler, Alan Siegel, James Masciello, Tai Duncan, Warren Goz, Eric Gold, and Mark Williams all produce.
“Copshop” opens in cinemas on September 17th.
