New World
Amazon’s highly anticipated MMO game “New World” has been delayed a further four weeks and will now arrive September 28th. The announcement follows New World’s recent closed beta with the additional time addressing player feedback.

In the statement the other week, Amazon also said it had received a ‘few’ reports of players using high-performance graphics cards experiencing hardware failure when accessing the menus within the game (ie. RTX 3090’s being ‘bricked’) and have implemented a patch to correct this. [Source: The Verge]

Ex-Husbands
Amazon Studios has picked up the “War of the Roses”-esque comedy feature “Ex-Husbands” which hails from Billy Eichner and Paul Rudnick along with Berlanti/Schechter Films.

The film tells the story of the first gay couple in NYC to get legally married in 2015, complete with epic wedding party, who are now getting an even more epic divorce in a viciously funny battle for the ages. [Source: Deadline]

Diablo Immortal
Blizzard Entertainment’s long-awaited mobile game “Diablo Immortal” has been delayed to sometime in the first half of 2022. In a press release, the decision was made after the developers sifted through feedback gathered from Closed Alpha testing and say to incorporate the adjustments means they won’t be finished in time to release the game this year. Venom: Let There Be Carnage
A new featurette for Andy Serkis’ “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” sees the actor/filmmaker draw comparisons between Venom’s titular symbiote and Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock as a personality struggle not unlike his “The Lord of the Rings” Gollum character.
