FX and 20th Television have premiered the brief teaser trailer for Ryan Murphy’s “Impeachment: American Crime Story” which premieres on September 7th.
Based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book “A Vast Conspiracy,” this will tell the story of President Bill Clinton (Clive Owen) and his 1998 impeachment following his infamous affair with then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein).
The cast also includes Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton, Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp, Margo Martindale as Lucianne Goldberg, Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones, and Billy Eichner as Matt Drudge.
That’s not the only promo trailer today. Showtime has unveiled the first teaser for their upcoming survival horror epic and coming-of-age drama “Yellowjackets”.
“Narcos” producers Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the series which will jump between timelines. One in the past follows a team of high school female soccer players who survive a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness.
The other is set 25 years later, following the now-adult versions who survived the crash. Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell and Sophie Thatcher star.
