Netflix has handed out a ten-episode straight-to-series order for a half-hour workplace comedy set in the front office of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The currently untitled project follows fictional team governor Eliza Reed as she navigates NBA ownership and family drama with her best friend by her side.
The project hails from Elaine Ko who is the writer, executive producer, and showrunner while Mindy Kaling will executive produce. Jeanie Buss, Linda Rambis and Howard Klein will also executive produce.
