Loki
Third-party streaming analytics film Samba TV has reported that the Disney+ series “Loki” was viewed by 890,000 households in the United States. Those numbers don’t include mobile views.
That’s good enough to be the largest US premiere-day audience for any of Marvel’s Disney+ shows to date – topping “WandaVision” with 655,000 households and “The Falcon and the Winter Solider” with 759,000. [Source: Deadline]
Black Widow
Tickets for Marvel Studios’ “Black Widow” are finally on sale now, and to celebrate the film has released a new clip from the Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh-led film.
The movie’s success is being closely watched as it will debut both in cinemas and on Disney+ Premier Access on July 9th, and as far as we know this will be the only Marvel film to follow that model.
The Wreck
Filming will commence this September in Malta on the high concept survival thriller “The Wreck” which will be introduced at the Cannes virtual market. Nick Saltrese (“A Prayer Before Dawn”) penned the script while Liam O’Donnell (“Beyond Skyline”) directs.
The story will follow a group of old college friends who reunite on a Caribbean scuba diving trip exploring the wreckage of a WWII battleship and find themselves trapped inside this underwater labyrinth of rusted metal surrounded by great white sharks. The Tomorrow War
Chris Pratt has a habit of doing video journals from his film sets, and its happened again with a new one for the Amazon Prime feature “The Tomorrow War” which hits the service July 2nd. Co-stars Yvonne Strahovski and Sam Richardson also appear in the clip.
