NVIDIA has announced that all newly manufactured RTX 3080, 3070, and 3060 Ti graphics cards will receive a reduced ETH hash rate – making the cards less desirable for those using them to mine Ethereum cryptocurrency.

The reduced hash rate will only apply to newly manufactured cards that include the lite hash rate label. These cards are slated to ship in late May and aims to get them in the hands of their core gaming audience. [Source: IGN]

Bad Robot
The recently launched video game division of J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot company has landed a reported $40 million in Series B fundraising and will use the new capital to build out its internal Games Studio, and further evolve towards its goal of building cross-medium stories and worlds. Call of Duty
The newest update of the three current incarnations of the “Call of Duty” franchise – “Black Ops Cold War,” “Warzone” and mobile – will add cinema action icons John McClane and John Rambo into the mix. The inclusions are a part of the franchise’s 1980s Action Heroes Event hitting this week with new points of interest added to the games as well including Die Hard’s Nakatomi Plaza.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered
Deep Silver has announced that “Saints Row: The Third Remastered” will be releasing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 25th. The upgraded versions will be free to all current owners of the game.

The new versions will allow players to experience some of the boosted performance options of the newer consoles including 4K/60FPS. PS5’s DualSense controller LED color will also shift to ‘Saints Purple’ whilst playing the game.
