Jamie Bell has signed on to star alongside Elisabeth Moss and Wagner Moura in the TV series adaptation of Lauren Beukes’ 2013 novel “Shining Girls” for the Apple TV+ service.
Moss stars in the metaphysical thriller as a Chicago reporter who survived a brutal assault only to find her reality shifting as she hunts down her attacker. Bell will play the role of Harper, a mysterious loner with a surprising connection to Moss’ lead.
Moura will play Dan, a veteran journalist breaking the widening story of a copycat attack. Silka Luisa will write the adaptation and serve as executive producer and showrunner.
Moss, Lindsey McManus and Leonardo DiCaprio will executive produce.
