Several new clips of gameplay from the upcoming PS5 launch title “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” have arrived and confirm that not only is Peter Parker a part of the action, but ‘Spider-Cat’ is as well.
One clip reveals a bodega owner has a cat named Spider-Man whom Miles’ Spider-Man saves at one point. After that, it appears you can unlock an optional costume allowing you to take the cat with you in a backpack. He’s not just a passive add on either. Armed with his own mask, he assists Miles during finishers.
The other clips include a look at Peter and Miles teaming-up for a mission, a glimpse of the game’s first boss – Rhino, and a look at Miles’ stealth and combat abilities.
The game arrives exclusively for PS5 & PS4 on November 12th. The ‘Ultimate Edition’ version on PS5 will also include a ground-up overhaul of the original PS4 “Marvel’s Spider-Man” made specifically for the PS5 with improved graphics and gameplay.
