Trailer: Dylan O’Brien In “Love and Monsters”

Paaramount Pictures has released the trailer for the Dylan O’Brien-led “Love and Monsters” which is bypassing a theatrical and getting a premium VOD release on October 16th.

Set seven years after the ‘Monsterpocalypse,’ Joel Dawson (O’Brien), along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. However, after reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick), who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again.

As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way. Michael Rooker and Ariana Greenblatt co-star.

Michael Matthews (“Five Fingers For Marseilles”) helms the film while Brian Duffield and Matthew Robinson penned the script and “Stranger Things” duo Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen produce.

The title will be available via Apple TV, Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, FandangoNow, Google Play, and Xfinity.
