“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” Gameplay Footage

Microsoft’s May event offered the promise of gameplay footage from numerous third party titles, the biggest of which being Ubisoft’s “Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla”. Of course that didn’t come to pass with only pre-rendered cinematics being shown and the disappointment palpable.

Now though, Ubisoft has unleashed actual gameplay – both a demo trailer and a gameplay walkthrough clip – showing off the Viking action.

The latest Assassin’s Creed preview was released alongside updates for fellow Ubisoft titles Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs Legion, and Hyper Scape at the July UbiForward event.

We’re introduced to Eivor, a Viking leader (you can play as male or female) and through whose eyes you see this world. You will lead your clan from the harsh shores of Norway to a new home amid the lush farmlands of ninth-century England – a fractured nation of petty lords and warring kingdoms.

You can: “fight brutal enemies, raid fortresses, build your clan’s new settlement, and forge alliances to win glory”. “Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla” comes to Xbox One, PS4, Stadia, and PC on November 17. Valhalla is also coming to Xbox Series X and PS5 at a later date.
