United Artists Releasing is set to unleash a contemporary version of the iconic horror classic “Child’s Play” in cinemas nationwide on June 21st.
The story follows a mother who gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature. The updated take stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry and Gabriel Bateman.
Rising filmmaker Lars Klevberg (“Polaroid”) directs from a script by Tyler Burton Smith (“Kung Fury”), while David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith (“IT”) will produce.
