“Star Wars” Time Jump, New Face & Poster

More and more it’s looking like J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode IX” will be set a good amount of time after the events of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Finance, franchise star John Boyega said: “I can’t wait to start shooting the next and final leg of the franchise. The first step is growing out my hair, so you can wait for the trailer to see why.”

Additionally, a new casting notice for the film has gone out via That Hashtag Show indicating a new female character will be key to the film. Named ‘Caro’, she is said to be a leader and problem solver with a great sense of humor and a strong will.

“Star Wars: Episode IX” opens December 20th. Finally a new Dolby Cinema poster for Lucasfilm’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story” is out and comes just over three weeks ahead of the spin-off’s release. You can see that one-sheet below.
