A few weeks out from release in the UK, StudioCanal has released four parody posters for Aardman Animation’s upcoming stop-motion animated sci-fi comedy adventure “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon”.
In the film an intergalactic visitor, an adorably impish alien called LU-LA, crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm. Shaun soon sees an opportunity for fun and sets off on a mission with his new friend on the road to Mossingham Forest to find her lost spaceship – unaware a sinister alien-hunting agency is on their trail.
The posters are a homage to “Gravity,” “Signs,” “2001: A Space Odyssey” and oddly for a kids film – “Under the Skin”. Though a sequel to 2015’s “Shaun the Sheep Movie” which scored astonishing critical notices, “Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon” is effectively standalone and is set for release on October 18th in the UK.
