A listing on Canadian distributor Mongrel Media’s website indicates that the Chris Rock-led and created “Saw” revival will be titled “Spiral: From the Book of Saw”. Darren Lynn Bousman helms the film which also stars Samuel L. Jackson as the father of Rock’s detective character. Max Minghella and Marisol Nichols co-star in the film which opens May 15th. Locke and Key
Carlton Cuse, the executive producer of Netflix’s upcoming “Locke and Key” series adaptation, says that the show’s staff is currently in the midst of penning the second season even though it hasn’t been greenlit as yet. Issa Lopez (“Tigers Are Not Afraid”) will write the script and direct an adaptation of the Matthew Baker short story “Lost Souls” for Searchlight. Noah Hawley will produce.

The title of “Most Dangerous Game” has been announced for upcoming short-form streaming service Quibi’s new action-thriller series starring Liam Hemsworth, Christoph Waltz, Sarah Gadon and Zach Cherry.
“Scorpion” creator Nick Santora is behind the series about Dodge Maynard (Hemsworth), a man trying to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life. He accepts an offer to participate in a deadly game where he soon discovers that he’s not the hunter… but the prey. [Source: Deadline]
