Criterion Gets “Irishman,” “Marriage,” “Atlantics”

Criterion Gets Irishman Marriage Atlantics

Netflix has announced that four of their original films have been slated to join the Criterion Collection later this year, each title getting a Blu-ray and DVD release under the banner.

Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman,” Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story,” Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert’s “American Factory” and Mati Diop’s “Atlantics” will all join the prestige label.

These follow on from Alfonso Cuaron’s “Roma” which is set for a February 11th home video release – the first Netflix title to get a Criterion disc release.

Each Criterion Collection release includes filmmaker-supervised master along with exclusive behind-the-scenes content and special features.
