Samuel Goldwyn Films has premiered the trailer for “Cold Storage,” a fungus zombie comedy starring Joe Keery, Georgina Campbell and Liam Neeson.
Teacake (Keery) and Naomi (Campbell) are employees of a self-storage facility located at the site of a former U.S. military base.
The pair discover a highly contagious and parasitic fungus has escaped from within the complex’s sealed depths. Soon, people in the building are dealing with the quickly mutating microorganism that makes bodies explode.
The two young employees join forces with a grizzled bioterror operative to survive the wildest night shift ever to save humanity from extinction as the microorganism spreads and destroys everything in its path.
Jonny Campbell (“Westworld”) directs the movie from a script by “Jurassic Park” and “Mission: Impossible” scribe David Koepp based on his 2019 novel of the same name.
Koepp and Gavin Polone serve as producers on the film which will get a theatrical release in 2026.
