Warners TV Targets Late August Shoot Restarts

Warner Bros. Television is reportedly planning for a late-August start for their Vancouver-based broadcast series.

A thirty day notice has been sent out to actors this week informing them that work on the 2020-21 season will commence in August – subject to approval by the Screen Actors Guild.

The dates reflect when actors would need to arrive in Vancouver for a two-week self-isolation required by British Columbia. Filming would then begin immediately after.

The list of shows eyeing these starts include many of Greg Berlanti’s productions including “The Flash,” “Riverdale,” “Supergirl,” “Superman and Lois,” etc.

That’s different to “Supernatural” which has already had some cast members arriving in Vancouver earlier this month. That show is on track to start shooting its final three episodes of the series in early-mid August.
