“Hot Fuzz” filmmaker Edgar Wright, longtime producing partner Nira Park, regular collaborator and “Attack the Block” helmer Joe Cornish, and “Baby Driver” executive producer Rachael Prior are all coming together again to form the new production company Complete Fiction.
Based in London and LA, the company’s projects will span both film and TV, and they have already lined up three television series at Netflix.
The first will be “Lockwood & Co.,” a supernatural action-adventure detective series based on the best-selling novels by Jonathan Stroud. Cornish will direct and executive produce.
The company has also optioned Tade Thompson’s sci-fi horror trilogy “The Murders of Molly Southbourne” and S.A. Chakraborty’s historical fantasy epic “The City of Brass”.
Complete Fiction is currently in post-production on Wright’s latest feature “Last Night in Soho” which was recently pushed to 2021.
