Adam Sandler and Netflix have settled on their next collaboration – “Hustle” which hails from acclaimed “We the Animals” director Jeremiah Zagar and will be produced by NBA legend LeBron James.
Sandler plays an American basketball scout who, after being unjustly fired, discovers a talented player abroad and decides to bring him to the U.S. to prove that they both have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
Taylor Materne and Will Fetters penned the script. Sandler’s Happy Madison, Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, and James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment are producing.
The project is expected to be Sandler’s next movie but it is unknown when production will get underway.
