Last night’s “Batwoman” finale revealed a new cast member – “Alphas” actor Warren Christie has been cast as Bruce Wayne…sort of.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR “BATWOMAN” FINALE
Bruce Wayne’s disappearance has been referenced multiple times over the first season, but in the finale last night the billionaire finally returned to Gotham City. However it turns out he’s not Bruce, but rather Tommy Elliot (aka. Hush).
Gabriel Mann played Elliot in previous episodes but having had his face removed, he’s now been altered to look like Wayne. As a result, the Elliot part has been recast to star Christie as Elliot now posing as Wayne.
It also means when the real Wayne/Batman does show up again, Christie is expected take on that role as well. The first season ended prematurely due to the coronavirus pandemic, coming in two episodes short of its original twenty-two episode order.
